Provides a safe environment for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community to come together to support each other. Held at the Healthy Living Centre every Friday 3pm-5pm.

Also internet access for those wishing to use it or to be helped to use it, access to Advice North Somerset and vouchers for the Clevedon Foodbank and its distribution centre in Nailsea. Backwell Parish Hall every Tuesday from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Drop-in service for homeless people, including people who are sleeping rough and those at risk of homelessness. Breakfast and lunch, tea and coffee, showers, clothing store. CAB advice sessions Fridays. Signposting to specialist services. Outreach by other related services also provided at the centre.
Suitable for: Homeless people over the age of 18 and those who are vulnerable.
Provides a minimum of 3 days emergency food and support to local people in crisis. Care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, CAB and police identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher. Foodbank clients bring their voucher to a foodbank centre where it can be redeemed for three days emergency food. Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea or free hot meal and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer-term problem. Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11.00-2.30pm.

The 14 Children’s Centres across North Somerset provide services for under 5’s and their families. These include ‘stay and play’ sessions, health visitor drop ins, ante natal classes, advice and guidance, family support, parenting groups.
A free Christian listening service for anyone who needs someone to talk to. Confidential. Can signpost people to specialist organisations.

The Youth Employment Service provides support for young people aged 14 to 19 (or up to 25 in certain cases), helping you access employment education or training. We will help you take responsibility for your decisions about your career. Drop-in sessions are available at the Town Hall and Jobcentre Plus in Weston-Super-Mare. VANS works to ensure communities can be self-sustaining. They offer help to set up or develop a community or voluntary group in or for the benefit of North Somerset resident. They also run the North Somerset Volunteer Centre, which helps people to find out about a variety of volunteering opportunities in their area and provides a brokerage service to help groups and organisations to recruit volunteers.
